Finished 3 Stands Of My AWI Conversions
« on: May 28, 2016, 10:12:39 AM »
Knocked out 3 stands of my converted AWI Hunting Shirt Unit. All the heads have been replaced with KMM heads.
I wanted these guys to be Stark's NH Militia, but I can find nothing about the clothing worn, other than it was civilian garb of the day. Hunting Shirts don't appear to be all that popular throughout New England. Although, Rangers from all over adopted Indian dress when on campaign.

Anyway, I am happy with the results.
And I am getting much better at taking pix.

I like the addition on bandages with seeping wounds and muskets/hats on the ground.

Re. hunting shirts in NE, that feels right (that they weren't popular), as in my mind NE is less wild than the rest of the geography in the conflict. But that's an opinion seperated in space and time from reality (like all of my wargaming come to think of it).

Have you ever placed your miniatures together on a table for a large-scale diorama?

Not yet, but I am working on terrain boards. Once they are finished, I'll set it all up.
