Mega City 6(mm)+Pics back up
« on: May 30, 2016, 09:19:50 PM »
Ok folks get ready for some more 6mm madness.
After one to many comments that the Ground zero Games 6mm NAC troopers looked a little like Mega City judges I could no longer resist.
I just had to do Judge Dredd in 6mm ;D

This thread will chronicle my efforts to bring "The Law" to both Junkertown and the neighbouring comunity of Cherryblossom Heights.

Here's what I've got so far.

So we have from left to right Judge Cassandra Anderson, Judge Dredd and Judge Giant and in the back Dredd on his Lawmaster bike.

I've since found two more of the bikes in my bits box so Anderson and Giant should get their rides too, after that I have a few ideas for some more vehicles but then things will probably be on hold until Microworld releases their new Microwasteland line, we'll see...

Oh and for those of you unfamiliar with both Junkertown or Cherryblossom Heights here's a few pictures of our intrepid hero's beat

YOU THERE!!! Senior citzen! Jay walking! Five years cryo-cell! Effective immediately! Please await pickup.

Thats it for now, stay tuned for more...

Ps: Does anybody have a recomendation for rules that handle street chases well?

Cheers,
Stroezie.

Wow lovely stuff - although I can't believe that you're gaming with individually-based 6mm infantry figures!  o_o I think I'd be knocking the scenery about all the time trying to get my big hands in there!  lol

Remarkable, sir!

This is one of the best 6mm projects Ive ever seen!

Now we only need the necessary creeps to live in your city (punks, angel gang, judge death, Batman!), and the fun can really go wild.

@Major Gilbear
Everything on that board is magnetised to keep things more or less in place. Besides, if your big fingers can't reach in there, you could always play with chopsticks. lol

That looks really fun.  I like the slightly cartoon-looking buildings. It really fits the chibi look of the figs.

Nice job all around!

Well I got some of the exelent Microworld Wasteland minis for christmas so I can finally continue with this project.

I decided to finish my judges first, I made a fourth judge and then converted three more bikes so they would all have rides.

Here's a pic

And a little preview of whats to come

That's it for now, more to come as I paint them.
I'm also still looking for a good car chase rule set for this so if you know of any good ones let me know.

Oh brill - how do they scale? They look so detailed that I've sort of assumed the warriors are 8mm tall... that the case, are they big?

As a lot of people have asked about the size of the wasteland figures vs other 6mm miniature lines I thought I'd take a quick size comparison picture.

The judges are all GZG miniatures(1 standard,3 headswaps) and the figure on the far right is from Angel Barracs.

As you can see there's a few real big boys in there but overall I'd say they size up pretty well imo.
The real big ones are mainly from the first 2 sets of wasteland warriors the later sets tend to be a bit smaller.
I don't really mind actually because hey, who knows what kind of strange mutated freaks roam the wastelands 8)

Excellent, thanks for that - they're absolutely fine (scale wise) as you say. Cheers!
