I weakened and bought both sets last night.  :)
First figures I've bought for about a year apart from a few of Kev's.   ;)

I just ordered my sets last night , I think the Fat lady Zombie will get an "I heart Scurv " slogan across her fanny.

I really hope you are an American transplanted to Kiwi land..... either that or your freehand must be very impressive and tiny.

No just using the most polite way of saying ARSE which some-one is being a pain in. lol

My two sets arrived today  8) I must say I really like them and are smaller than I expected which is a good thing . 8) They seem to fit right in with my Street Violence figures.
The Fat Lady appears to have Cankles and Bingo Wings  lol .

Mine arrived on Friday! :D I have to say they are a perfect match for the 5 new Matt Lord zombies that Hasslefree released.  Those two releases have to be about the best zombie miniatures out there.  They will fit in great with zombiesmith and cold wars too.  A little smaller than the Griffin and RAFM zombies but I don't mind a slight difference in size that bothers some.  I can't wait to see the other four sets they are going to offer!  And (hint, hint) I would love to see more Matt Lord zombies released by HF! lol

I've just finished painting my Matt Lord Zombies . I did'nt think they looked too good before painting them but a couple have turned out really great . One is my favorite Zombie so far . I will post pictures later.

I'd like to see a Ronald McDonald Zombie , but maybe that would have IP issues  ::) so I may have to scratch build it myself.

A bit of threadomancy, but anyone know who makes the scenic inserts for those round lip based used with the minis? I tried emailing Studio Minis to ask, but they don't answer (at least yet). I want to buy those minis, but I also want those inserts to go with them. They make the minis look so much nicer than regular sand textures.

Those I think are custom sulpted, as some blend in with the bases of the minis, (the half torso for example.

You can get DS inserts and DS resin senic bases from the delightful Fenris Games:

I must admit, I'm seriously tempted by these awesome zeds myself. I purchased Iron Ivan's "No More Room In Hell" rules when they first came out so it's about time I got some use out of them.

As for Mr Scurve & his IP theft rant, I assume he checked there were no IP issues before he purchased his B Team?

Oh please that rant was years ago, best let it lay dead. That's the trouble with zed threads, always resurfacing.... :D

Stavros, get them, some on the best sculpted zeds out there, (I should know...;)).

Studio Miniatures do some nice survivorszombie fodder as well. Just finished painting up Dorothy and her gang

Regarding the bases, there's generally enough surface area when the slotta tab is removed to drill and pin them to scenic bases (apart from the dog above, where I should have taken a different approach. Next time  :P).

I have the second zombie mob as well, with about half of them painted. I also own zombie mob 6 (the hospital set). The figure in the body bag alone makes this set for me  :D

Ok, cheers C. Vyper. No wonder they look so nice then. I guess I might pop in an order for Fenris too, they have those Sulaco bases as well...

EDIT: oh yeah, are those fenris bases whole bases, or just inserts? I assume the former?

The temptation is there, believe me, but unfortunately so is this years council tax bill.
Now there's an unexpected surprise I could have done without this morning  :(

The Studio Miniatures zeds are the only ones that have ever really appealed to me so I'm sure I'll weaken eventually & try to sneak an order in passed the watchful gaze of my understanding wife  :D

Aw man,
those are magnificent.
Last year I bought their Zombie Horde 3 box at Salute.
Never got any further than priming them and now, seeing these beauties makes me even more reluctant of starting on 'em.  :?
