Paper soldier molds

I remember reading about Peter Cushing made his Napoleonic soldiers from paper, using molds.  Are these type of molds still available?  I would love to revive such a cool art? form!  Thanx for any info!!!

I suspect it'll be a water soaked slush that would be cast in two part molds and then dried before painting.

But I wonder if they did not simply use available two-part molds and swap unavailable metal for available paper ?

this I suspect is bang on target.

It';s certainly much more feasible with 54mm figures than 32mm.
