I'm being rather pedantic I know.

Hey, now you're preaching to the choir. ;)

I know them, and while most of them don't have the humanoid aspect they aren't bug like enough to my liking. I'm being rather pedantic I know. I might just end up sculpting them myself in the end.

There's the tyranid rippers (especially the older metals) who are great for this kind of thing.

There's always Khurasan who does 15mm:
Space Demon Nymphs

Vespulid Maggots

Giant Ants

Sporecasters

Bloodworm

Giant Insects

And I'm back from a nice 10 day walking trip in Dartmoor and I'm now full of terrain ideas. What I really should do is get the infantry finished up and decide what I'm going to use though.  ::) Oh and print the tank a bit larger and make a smaller version...  lol

Did you have a good walkabout?

Oh definitely, it only rained half the days, we only got lost in a quagmire on one walk and I only once mistook a cowpat for a stepping stone. :D Lots of moors lots of picturesque valleys and rivers and a lot of ancient history. Also picked up half a dozen books or so on the cheap. In short, everything I expected and wanted from a good old English holiday. Afterwards it hit me again how mind numbingly flat my home country is.

Actually I printed and painted some of those armoured knights before I left, I should post a picture of those later today!

back to the 3d. How is the form one rolling along? Is it still having a moment now and then or did that get sorted?

Also with the zeps are you going to do that as a single print or split it front to back and do 2 halves?

Wel I didn't get round to taking close up pictures of the potential problem part for customer support before leaving, that's on the to-do list. However, I tweaked some of the finetuning settings a bit to get the last prints for Eureka done (more on that later folks) And I stumbled upon a sweet spot where all my problems, new and old, disappeared (for now at least). I haven't fired up the magic goo machine yet since I was supposed to help a friend to 4 weeks worth of silversmithing in 1.5 but that order fell trough yesterday.  :?

I hadn't fully decided on the zep yet since I don't have all the main shapes let alone details yet. Separate wings for sure. I might split it top bottom rather than front back actually, depending on how I end up doing stuff. However, if I manage to keep the bottom with large featureless curves at its lower points I might just print the main fuselage in one go.

Tiny update on the knights. First two paint tests and the rest of the group "on the sprue" as it were. I'm happy with the design but considering re-printing these guys as recent finetuning might make them come out just a bit crisper still.

I've been looking forward to seeing these - they're great. Really capture the Knights perfectly.

I had a visit from a couple of old friend whose praise as very helpful in getting me going on this project again. While I'm going forwards with the airships please feel free to pepper me with any and all cool looking gun turrets and emplacement for ships. I want to follow Laputa's example where, in the close-up shots, pretty much every turret is different in construction.

Those tiny knights look great. I hope we get to see more of your prints.

Currently I'm trying to decide between the Form 2 and Autodesk's Ember. And you've just about sold be on the Form 3d printer for home use.
