A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Slightly modified Short Sunderland (turret snipped off and sanded smooth) for the upcoming test scenarios.

I've been doing some prep work copying an old conversion of mine for a updated Bombing the river Bug - scenario, the Mistel. I'll prep 2 Me-109 F's to paint as identically to the ones on top of the Mistels. If I ever do more Mistels (I like to work in pairs) I'll do a pair of the Fw-190 version.

Since I was looking at the cost for buying and making bases for sea, desert and land would get a bit out of hand, I just painted one flat black and well, that works just as well and even better, the dial number (speed) now stands out more.

Nailed it today.

As soon as I find some more scrap wood I must make more of these nailbeds as they make storage and sorting a breeze. Also sorted all of my unbuilt aircraft in WW2 and Modern.

I know have the full collection of all the scenario books (until the Vietnam book is released). Plenty of painting to be done now :)

Wasn't 100% happy with the brown on my Sunderland so repainted it in a lighter shade. Much easier to see now even if it is only 1 or 2 tones difference.

Yeah, it's better. Like with 6mm the colours have to be a tone or two lighter to "pop".
