Yup, lovely little critters. Question is - what can you tell us re the KS project? Is it some form of skirmish in the upper levels of a dungeon?

THanks everybody! I really like this range a lot.  :)

The fluff is in it's early stages, but dungeons and dark dense forests are on the table.
THe amount of models is rather low, but can be scaled. I will post an AAR sometime soon.

Great thread, sorry I just found it. Kobolds in several early D&D adventures always had a giant Weasel or two. Lost some good characters to those...
Centipedes work too.

The rules are coming along well and I started doing some art for the booklet. One thing that still isn't clear to me is if I want more traditional colors or possibly something that has more of a recent feel to it.
I tried both, orange and reptiloid and was adding a bloke with skull face since that suggestion was pure gold. The graphics are still a bit unfinished and blocky, but it's getting there.

I like the little orange guy myself, though I guess it depends on where you think they live. I would possibly paint mine to be cave dwellers and maybe go for a vary pale, gollum palette. I would avoid green, don't want to get them mixed up with goblinoids!

I'm glad we agree.  :D Looking at them I think the skull face paint would make for a nice shaman to any tribe, though I will probably do my entire group like that.

Okay, I'll take the bait. What's the other critter in there? Part of the upcoming release?

Kobolds, giant centipedes, rust monsters and stirges so far. I am really tempted to do a range of gnomes as well...

I didn't see the feathery bits out front. Now I see it.
Looks great. Gnomes could be interesting, although I'm more into the bad guys.

Me too.

The point is that buying the old 3rd edition gnomes to field a proper force will be about as expensive as having new ones made. :--)

Can you give any more info about the rules? Will there be a solitaire mode?
