Moghul / Mahratta Type Indians
« on: July 16, 2016, 10:12:48 AM »
One of my ongoing* projects is Indians for the mid 18th Century (I'm not sure how far I can abuse the word "ongoing" when decades have been involved!) I took the opportunity to do a comparison photo of some of the available cavalry figures in 28mm (ish), below, and I might even get around to the same for the main infantry types...

There is a larger version clickable on the blog post itself along with some of my blatherings.

Bonjour Adam,

This is very helpful.

I've got some of the Foundry stuff and have, shamefully, not yet painted a single one.

I look forward to seeing your project progress.

Cheers,

Paul

I love the Indus-Eureka-and Old London War Room, with a mix of everything else except Redoubt because of size not quality.

Very useful - thanks for that.

I have mixed Indus with my Eureka/Golconda and Foundry stuff. The Indus and Golconda and similar built an little slighter than Foundry, but more than acceptable together IMO.

I love the Indus-Eureka-and Old London War Room, with a mix of everything else except Redoubt because of size not quality.

Any more pics of that juergen?

I appreciate the scale, like you, I have been gaming and collecting in this years.  Unfortunately when I started the Redoubt figures were the best wargame figures  had seen and felt in years and have been collecting in that scale (Whatever it is).  I have added many of the Reaper Pirates and dancing girls along with that Mahratta Prince clapping his hands.  The Alternate Armies French Elves have provided officers.  I am always looking for figures to add to my Armies.  The London War Room Cannon can be found on the table. I would provide pictures, but I am a terrible photographer.  I always like seeing these Armies, they are better than Landsknechts and more fun (balanced?) than the Northwest Frontier in the 1880's.  Am I making sense, or is this just prattle>
