The same sculpt can appear many times  :)
You'll have to be quick though, with only three spaces left!

What a great figure for a Tintin setting (something else I've wanted to do).

I hadn't really thought about it whilst I was painting but you're right he does have that Tintin look.

I have the Hinterland not-Tintin set to paint yet and also with Tin Shed Gamers lovely new sculpts released through 1st Corps, a Tintin game is looking very much on the cards.

He is a great figure.

Maybe, one day, we should run a painting club where everyone paints the same figure.

Might be a bit of a slow burn - maybe a 50 person club, rather than a 100, but would be interesting to see so many different takes on a single figure  :)

Actually I like the idea :)

Agreeing which miniature might be difficult though...  lol

It would have to be something widely available... One of those really popular miniatures you see a lot...

Well, we can have a think about it  :)

Or maybe a specially commissioned LAF figure - you never know one of the talented members may offer to sculpt it for free, or one of the LAF Lead Barons may donate some figures?

We did that some time ago on BGG when the Painter's Guild monthly painting competition had a one year anniversary.

There was some back-and-forth in selecting the miniatures but the one that was chosen in the end, a Warrior Priest from Avatars of War, seemed to be reasonable choice.

The list with the contest can be found here:

Given that it is the lead adventure forum, why not some kind of adventurer? The right mini could be used for any number of periods from colonial to interwar/Pulp/BoB or further.

Or alternativey a competiton where its based on a theme, perhaps the same? Everyone paints what they consider to be an adventurer.

Excellent!

The end is near!
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.
