These are awesome! Love the various sickly skin tones on your infected, and the tan colour suits the new guys very well. Great work!

They look good. I got some of the plastics in a trade b
ut I was diappointed with the quality, but you've brought out the best in them.

Still more impressive is the scenery you've got in the background. Where did you get the butes from, or did you make them?

@hubbabubba: That are stones for the aquariums, a little bit pimped.

Here are some pictures I still have.

I just love this thread. Every time I see it, I think "I MUST OWN THIS GAME!".
Excellent paintjobs, really like your colour choices. Nice, bright and with good contrast.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I try to keep it with painting as similar as in the rule-book and their schemes. And the game makes so much fun, with different teams also a nice set of options. The idea is to finish the last 5 teams and the civilians that come with them. Some infected and couple of trashers/raiders too. I also started  with small plate for the tabletop game.

that's some top work on these figures. I took the easy way out and ordered a bunch of heroclix figures for all the civilian workers and security guards that I rebased and did small paint touch-ups to for my set, all that plastic is still in the box mostly untouched. The amount of stuff you've got completed is impressive. I keep intending to break them out and paint up the other MERCS teams at least, now that the regular miniatures game 2.0 rules and cards are a free download on the website. One day.

I agree the game is good, I was surprised to get a full kickstarter set off ebay for much less than the cost of the KS. A lot of backers were disappointed with the final product, but I think it's great. Haven't played it multiplayer, but it's a good solo game and Boardgamegeek has some files to make it easier for solo play like smaller character boards to track an entire team at once. You can do it with the regular boards, but it takes a lot of space.
