This may be old news to avid followers of the "Evil Empire" but I just spotted this while shopping for Legends of the Old West supplements for my nephew (he's got the Old West bug pretty bad):

Sorry if this is already common knowledge. First I'd heard of it.

I´m rather intrigued by that, and what a nice coincidence that I bought a handful of ships for the period at Crisis - teeny-tiny 1/2400 sailing ships. Will have to upload some pics of those, now...

I've seen this Dylan in a newsletter sometime ago.

Thanks for the update.

What a terrible excuse! at least you could have said that the dog ate your home-work! :D

anyway... I'm really looking forward to know something about the rules system of this game! if it's related to Manowar (not the tight-leather-pants Manowar) and permits battle lines I think I'll have a go with this one!
Cheers,
Pedro

Not from what I have seen I think it could be large scale battles and Napoleonic too

Mark Latham & I have talked about it, but nothing has come about because of it. I know some LotHS players wanted to be able to command a fleet of ships, this ruleset will allow that.

I was on the playtest group years ago when mark started writing the book (around the same time I was doing LotHS), but as the LotHS came into final edits I had to step out of the group. but from what I remember it is based on Man O War and allows the use of multiple ships. I know I will be picking this up to play around with.

What a beautiful game! Good to see that GW still has some class!

I really wish people would stop giving GW credit for these games. Warhammer Historical is an owned subsidiary of GW but the folks at Warhammer Historical are owed the credit for this. Not the &^%$^% bean counters that run GW.

Lets give credit where it is due.
