I've just started rereading elf quest. I'd like some of those as minis.
720 pages for $35 NZD was too good to pass up.

Elf Quest figures were produced in boxed sets back in the 80s. I don't remember who did them though.

I'm sure an updated look from the 80's would be well met. (Never seen those minis though so making a huge assumption here)

Nexus miniatures have got a 28mm nit red dwarf crew coming out.

And I'm going to vote for Dune a second time, while I'm here. Because I wants it, my precious, I wants it.

I'll 2nd GI Joe & Transformers as a crossover combined game; why have one or the other when you can have a cocktail of the both.
As well as MOTU, especially if it includes the She-ra cast too. Zordak was always far more intimidating than Skeletor. Plus who wouldn't want an army of evil robots for the good guys to batter their way through.

lol @ jagged alliance.  Loved the 2nd game sooo much I must have completed it 50 times. But as a mini game, you'd only need 3 mini sculpts with weapon options.  Buff guy in vest, normal guy in vest & woman in vest. Maybe do a limited edition fat guy in shorts for an npc...
Come to think of it,  you can do all these from project Z survivors.  It's just a case of matching the colours of the different characters vest & pants combos

You know at this point in my life I'd settle for a Traveller licence.  28mm for alien and human characters, 10mm or 15mm for large-scale combat and a decent range of resin starships.

And not made by Mongoose either...

Zombie Ste: the problem with wargaming JA is that I would want it WYSIWYG, so I would need guys armed with Uzis, M14s, M16s, SAWs, Mac 10s, .38s, .357s, Colt Commandos, VALS, etc. So many weapons. Then you need guys and gals of different ethnicities and builds armed with each of the weapons. Some with camo, some without. So my favourite merc was Gus Tarballs: I would need a Gus equipped with every possible weapon and gear combination for my OCD to be satisfied. Then I would need the same with Kelly  (my second favourite, from JA1 and JA: Deadly Games). Then the same with Magic, Spike, Len, Sully, Gaston, Postie, Boss, Buzz...
You see the problem.
Vindice: 28mm Red Dwarf crew vs. GELFS in the bowels of the Dwarf... that would be fun. Thanks.

Monkey

although I seem to remember a k-starter or indigogo for a board game version a couple of years ago that had some lovey minis but was well out of my price range.

Going for a bit of comics nostalgia...

Ace Trucking co.

The Amazing Three (from Jackpot comic, not the anime series)

I'd like to see some decent Anime/Manga miniatures, based on actual series and not just the Aesthetic.

Fairy Tail would be perfect for skirmish game. It's basically small bands of wizards, though their magic is often closer to martial arts, organised into guilds both official and dark. It would be easy to build a warband-sized skirmish game with character progression along the lines of Mordheim.

I know Star Trek has been mentioned already, but I would REALLY like to see some actually good Trek ship minis, particularly of the original crew movie era.

For some bizarre reason, ST ship minis have only gotten worse and worse as the manufacturing tech to do them well gets better and more available. The Attack Wing plastics are bad enough on their own, but stick 'em next to their FASA equivalents from thirty freakin' years ago and the difference is... insulting. It demonstrates very directly just how few f***s the people in charge of the Attack Wing minis really gave.

We should be doing better than FASA now, not worse. So, so much worse.  :?

History viewed from the inside is always a dark, digestive mess, far different from the easily recognizable cow viewed from afar by historians.
