Spin casting machines

Hello all,

I'm currently trying to find out some info on how to make a small scale white metal casting setup, but am at a bit of a loss as to where I should be looking to find out about machines etc.

Being based in the UK I know that Tiranti do a spin caster for RTV silicone moulds, but was wondering if there were any alternatives. And since the community here is a fount of knowledge I was hoping that someone could give me a bit of advice as to what I should be looking for in terms of:

Equipment for making the vulcanised rubber moulds (I believe these are the most durable)
Spin casting machines (small scale ones)
And where on earth I should be looking for there items in the U.K!

Tiranti make the Centricast system as you say, which will spin up to 9" moulds.

Seba are the big supplier of casting machines in the Uk and vulcanisers but they are expensive new

Conley Casting have a UK agent and have just launched a small setup for casting and vulcanising, though I don't know if you can by it in the UK.

Nicem have a UK agent through Hewitt-Impex

Again, they are professional level machines.

Thanks for the info, it looks as though the Tiranti one appears to be the most manageable contraption whereas most of the others seem pretty industrial in scale! Nice looking models in your store by the way, I particularly like the cobalt mercenaries.

I can't help but notice that you also live in the same area as I do!
