My Friends and I started runnig a champain in our friendly local store, we have been adding some home made scenarios.
I Just had a idea for a new one - "The Ancient Zoo".
Fluff:
In the old times, the sorcerers of Frostgrave had a Zoo full of magical creatures. This building had spells that kept the creatures frozen in time. So they are still alive now.
After discovering the existence of it, the Wizards want this creatures for study.
Setting:
The map would have eight cages, 8'' from the center of the table, each of them 6'' from each other, basicaly drawing a circle.
The creature's identity will be revealed only when a member of a Warband is 3'' from the cage.
The identity of the creatures will be in accordance with the outcome of a roll, whose value will match one of the creatures listed in a table.
The map will contain the normal 6 treasures.
The main objective of the scenario is the sorcerer acquire one of the creatures as a pet.
If a warband finish the scenario with more than one creature, the player will have to choose one of them, you can only get one, the remaining count as if they had fled (but each of will give 30xp).
The magical creature can not be used in games, it's always in the Wizard base, this will give a "Out of game" specific bonus.
Examples:
Earth-Elemental: +1 spells roll "animate construct" and "wall"
Unicorn: improve the recovery of wounds ??
I need ideas for magical creatures and their bonus.
Eight criatures would be great, but the more the beater (maxium 20 so it would match the D20 dice) !
