Hi Nicolo very good looking table. Thanks for posting, there is some inspiration here.

I recently used clear bases for some western figures, I did cut the bases from the figure after painting them. They were mainly resin figures with slotta bases so not too hard. The metal ones were much more difficult but successful. I did damage the paint on their feet and had to redo that. So maybe your way is better.

You have probably seen the figures that wolf girl posts on the pulp board, I think they are very effective, she uses PVC packaging rather than bought bases, they are thinner and you do not see the edge of the base so much.

It looks like the roofs on your building corrugated cardboard, if so they look very effective well done :)

Chinese history has always been something that interested me. And this period has been one of my favorites since seeing 55 Days in Peking when I was young. You have a lovely set up & great figures.
