Tsuba Miniatures - Russians as White's?
« on: August 14, 2016, 11:44:49 AM »
That's my question.  Would the  Tsuba Russian Infantry for the Russo/Japanese work as White Russians?  (I'm thinking mercenary-type band led by a local Count.)

If "no" what would have to change in addition to adding a peak to the cap?

Can also be used as Bukharans after a head swop.

Some white units wore old Tsar's uniform (pre-1907), large amounts of which were available at some storage bases, such as Crimea and some others. Many white soldiers wore forage cap without a peak, it was a common sighting.

Thanks, but hoping to use with minimal changes.

That sounds good enough to me.   :)  Many thanks.

Tsuba's Russians are usable for both WWI and the RCW without modification. Many Russian soldiers wore the peakless bezkozirka during the First World War, and they had something of a revival amongst the White "Coloured" regiments.
