Pulp Bug
« on: January 28, 2009, 09:41:52 AM »
I have been trying to infect my younger brother with the pulp gaming bug. He really only plays the Evil empire games, mainly 40K, my fault because I started bringing these home when he was only nine or ten and he caught that bug early.
Well he has just sent me an email with some pictures of something he is working on. I thought I would show you lot.

What do you think?
My nefarious plan has come together and I have succeeded in infecting another gamer.
Now back to my plans to infect the other members of my DnD gaming group.

This stuff is exquisite.

I am not sure what he has used. I will ask him but it looks like some sort of Rawl plug.

Stunning stuff and an excellent use of Beroca tablet tubes ;)

The bug has bitten very deep. He is not content just to make the Lab board, started above, for one game. He has now decided to make a whole campaign. Starting with a game at a dock.

Stairs

Jetty

Warehouse

Dock WIP

As you can see he is the talented one in the family.

Very, very nice.  :-*  :-*

The brickwork & decaying plaster on the wall is particularly effective.  Hand-scribed brickwork or plastic card?
I may just have to pinch that idea for my Geezers dockside.  8)

That's really impressive! I also like the way the brick work is done, particularly with the  solid spaces to break it up a bit! Can't wait to see the rest!

I believe the brick work is plastic card.
