Thank you all for the kind comments it is much appreciated. I had a lot of fun making and painting this one and I'm glad you like it!

@ Vanlak: An objective is probably the best way to go for Dragon Rampant, as I don't see it as an actual combat unit ( although it can defend itself). I will have a play around with some stats ( no attack action or attack value but a good move action? ) I was thinking that reducing it to 1/2 strength could represent wounding the ogre/driver and making it harder to move, whilst reducing it to 0 strength stops it completely. Hmmm.. I will have to have think.

The Slaver looks awesome, and you inspired me to go buy a Cage Rager to use as a Siege Giant for my own army. You say the slaver is a converted RA miniature, what manufacturer is RA?

Whatever you use it for, it'a a beautiful addition to the army, and a stunning display unit. Your plan sounds good - although I am no expert at Dragon Rampant.

Me neither, but I'll give it a go!   :D

Thanks mate. Not thought of using it as siege giant. I would be interested to see what you come up with. RA is " Russian Alternative " who produce some of the nicest Chaos Dwarf minis I've seen! I can't recommend them enough, nice casts at very reasonable prices ( especially the resin ones which are excellent value IMHO )

I've been tied up a little with some side projects and so haven't had much time for my Chaos Dwarfs. I just started on a unit of berserkers ( Disciples of Lugar) using Russian Alternative and Avatars of War minis.
The first two I have completed are slightly converted Avatars of War minis ( horns, teeth and weapon swaps on the first and just horns on the second).

I'm about 1/2 way through base coating the rest of the unit.

Pappa,

Awesome work as always.
Funny enough when i clicked the topic and saw the berserkers i was thinking they seemed taller than normal.
My imagination or truth?

I think they look tall because they aren't so "squat" and wide as a lot of GW stuff, Height-wise they are bang on.

Here's a quick pic of a FW Daemonsmith that I've had half-finished for a while. I like the mini but he is a quite a bit bigger than my other Chaos Dwarfs.

Lovely rich painting. The work on the staff is particularly impressive.

Hi all,
I've had a bit of a break from all things Chaos Dwarf and have been busy with work and some other projects. Anyhow, I've had these undercoated ( apart from the the female champion) for months and thought i'd finish them. They will be adding some more firepower to my army
