28mm Austrian Landwehr
« on: August 18, 2016, 12:54:47 PM »
Bonjour Chaps,

I finally realised that I needed some of these.

OK Perrys do some but I don't do plastic!

Elite do some but there's no piccies.

So, if anybody has an image of the Austrian Landwehr made by Elite, or can point me in the direction of where I can find some that would be great.

Whilst on this topic, I also wanted some of the excellent Perrys Jagers but in addition to the skirmish poses also want them in march attack or similar to allow me to have a close-order battalion or three. Does anybody have any suggestion for this too please?

Hope so.

Cheers,

Paul

Plastic are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! So take the plunge and do some!

You also have the Victrix ones but if I had to chose plastic (and I prefer plastic over metal!  :D ) I would go with Perry.

Hi ARKOUDAKI,

One of the most important reasons for me not doing plastic is that I'm such a slow painter that I can't justify the time on something which won't last as well as a good old metal figure.

I do have plastic stuff for my 20mm WW2 though.

I keep on looking at the Perry Austrians and the Warlord Austrian Landwehr and being tempted but I must be strong and resist plastic Napoleonics!

Currently leaning towards getting some f the rather chubby Front Rank ones.

Cheers,

Paul

Foundry have these. Look under their Napoleonic Austrian listings.
