If any makers who drop in here are interested in having their products, rules, figures or terrain, brought to the attention of a wider audience, please get in touch.

Two UK hobby magazines, Toy Soldier Collector and Military Modelcraft International, are increasing their content to include wargaming. I already write a review column , along with feature articles, in TSC and have now been asked to do the same for MMI.

The aim is to have regular coverage of wargaming, both product reviews and editorial. We will also be doing feature articles like company profiles and ‘products in action’, providing further free publicity.

The magazines also organise shows in London at the Design Centre Islington and these will also be expanded to include wargaming, with traders and games. This will start modestly with the 3 December 2016 show; the idea is to increase the wargames presence in the 2017 shows in march, June and December. If you are interested in a stand and/or putting on a game, please let me know.

You can check out the magazines at the websites are listed below.

I look forward to hearing from you to see if we can be of mutual benefit with this venture.

Hi Mike,

I would be interested in promoting my Boot Hill Miniatures 28mm range of Alamo period figures via the magazines editorials etc.

Drop me a PM if you think we would fit the bill.

I don't really sell the figures(soon will) but I paint them for loads of companies full time. Be happy to help in some way.

Good to hear that a wargame element will be returning to this show. Missed your group's efforts over the last couple of years Mike. The venue is not as good as the old National Hotel, and without a game or two it had become a glorified flea market. So good news all round.
They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
We will be victorious!!
