The Portal: Pirates
« on: August 23, 2016, 02:31:30 PM »
After a weeks delay...here is the next part of my ongoing attempt to get through all the bords of LA with minis from the lead mountain.

If you want to find out more about about the idea...have a look here.

So here is a little pirate skirmish.
I had exactly 5 Black Scorpion miniatures in the lead pile. A birthday gift from years ago. Way too big for my foundry stuff and on SLOTTA base... :o

Did build a little tavern and painted some plastic stuff...a big canon and so...

The scenario will pit a tuff captain against 4 of his crew...brawling for a treasure chest.

Cheers,
Don

The Black Scorpion pirates are bigger than most... but I love their look!  You did an excellent job with them, as well.

What skirmish rules are you using for that awesome PORTAL project?

Thanx, gents....;)

@rules
Thinking of "Songs of Blades...". But I have a downscaled version of .45-adventure wich I quite successfully tested on conventions: lots of fun an laughter. So that would be a possibillity too.

Cheers,
Don

Lovely painting. If Black Scorpian figures were smaller, I would have bought everything they ever produced.

jet, the Black Scorpion pirates - and Pirate Girls, of course - are well suited for characters due their height and details. Very characterful figures!  ;)

And if you're into swashbuckling fantasy, their fantasy pirates - elves, orcs, dwarfs and undead - are perfect as they are!
