O\S normally works OK - however I think I'm right in saying that Plasticville\Bachmann produced some sets in HO scale too.

They did produce some HO scale ones. Make sure that you order the O/S scale.

Lemax produced a magnificent gas station, very suitable for Pulp era from 1930's through 1950's.  You might find on of those in some Christmas sale at Michael's or elsewhere.  The size is very suitable for 28mm figures.

My gas station arrived. I'm attaching a quick shot I took with some figures near it for scale.

As you can see, it is not the HO version but the O/S version. When looking for Plasticville buildings, you want to be sure to get that scale.

Thankfully, these beat up plasticville pieces come up often on ebay. One of these days I will have to make it to a model train show. Train guys don't want the busted ones, but they are perfect for me.
