Starting in 1/72 WW2 Barbarossa
« on: September 11, 2016, 05:48:55 PM »
Hi All,

I've been gaming on and off for about 35 years now and after having pretty much given up the hobby in recent times, I decided to start again with 1:72 WW2. My favourite era is early Russian Front and I find it helps to have a focus as well, so within that timeframe, I will be concentrating on the 6th Panzer Division with opposing Soviet forces.

I'm going with plastics as much as possible (cheaper and better detail, IMHO, and I like building model kits).

More later, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you of my plans.

Cheers
Pete

Welcome Pete. I used to do 1/72 WWII but made the mistake of having 2 or 3 different projects and it just became a black hole for time and money, which was my own fault.
Lots of nice cheap plastic fast builds around now, and the there is almost nothing you cannot get in 1/72 nowadays. Have fun.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
