[Kickstarter] Ancient ruins resin terrain
« on: September 16, 2016, 10:13:54 PM »
I hesitated to post this here (because of one big issue), but if anyone's interested, I have a small terrain Kickstarter that's on its last legs. The terrain consists of some ancient stone ruins and was (in part) designed with Frostgrave in mind. My hesitation in posting is that the shipping is, by necessity, restricted to the US. The horrors of shipping heavy resin from the US makes it so that I'd have to charge an insulting amount to have it shipped overseas. With my apologies to the rest of the world, please feel free to take a look!

Worldsmith sells some great products. I used Worldsmith terrain to make most of my SAGA terrain (SEE below) and I plan to use the Ancient Ruins Kickstarter terrain to augment my Frostgrave table.

Lovely stuff. Fully understand the shipping restrictions though. Also you never know what the post office will do with shipping charges between now and fulfillment.

Thanks for the endorsement, Koyote! I should also note that both of my previous Kickstarters have delivered a month or two early, and I fully plan on continuing my on- or ahead-of-schedule trend.

@beefcake - Honestly, as an American it's embarrassing how expensive our international shipping has become compared to the rest of the world. I appreciate the understanding!

It's crazy, and for some reason over here when you want to track something to go overseas (lets say a $10 package) it bumps the price up by about $40-$50! Crazy! Everywhere else it seems to be only a small amount.

These are brilliant. I love the way parts are removable, makes so much sense for gameplay, and for so much versitility.

It's a shame I'm in the UK or I'd be all over this. Is there no way you could get them produced by someone over this side of the pond and shipped out? Maybe someone like Annie the Dice Bag Lady or similar? If so I'd buy a set in a heartbeat.
I know the voices aren't real .... but they have such FASCINATING ideas!

Oh! Dice Bag Lady is an excellent idea in regards to pursuing an international retailer. She's fantastic.

Final day!

Opportunity ... fading.

Less than 24 hours... remaining

Terrain ... so beautiful.

Must. Pledge. Now.

Will second what Azzabt said.
I also understand the shipping restriction. I've had about 50 dice shipped from Oz cheaper than a single 28mm figure from the US. I think postage here in the UK has got bad, then I look at what my friends in the US get charged...
