MkI and MkII. Not the easiest of builds but for 35 euros each well worth the investment! http://dwartist.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/wip-puppets-war-28mm-dragonflys.html

Cool as always.  How was the casting quality?

Thanks! Detail is pretty good but a few of the individual parts suffer from 'flow' lines, blobs of resin in undercuts and flash which need a fair bit of work to clean up. I had difficulty with the fit on both of the models eg. the MkII cargo pod comes in two halves and when joined there is an opening on both ends which should be hidden once fitted. Unfortunately when I fitted the pod there was a gap at the rear which meant the opening was visible. I eventually had to build a new rear wall from plasticard. To be fair this might have been down to a lack of decent preparation on my part as I was keen to get them built asap so i could begin painting.
I do like the look of both the models though and the size of them (the MkII is over 12 inches long with a wingspan of just over 10 inches...and it's heavy!) makes them very imposing - they'd look good on a gaming table. I think they're a good investment for the price (35 euros) and worth persevering with. I'm pretty sure I'll go back for more.

Thanks for the feedback.  Sadly that matches my experience with their kits in the past.  I really like the look of the MKII as well, very tempting for the price, but I think I'll hold out for Antenocitis chickenhawk.

MkII almost finished, MkI base-coated (not sure about the turret on the MkI and may replace it with a sensor/drone similar to the one on the MkII).

Amazing work as always.  Have you thought of a smaller chin turret for the MK 1?

Yeah, that turret is far too 40k for something that's supposed to fly through an atmosphere.

Yep - won't fit because the landing skid takes up all the space. Weapons will fit under the nacelles on either side or under the wings so may go for either of those options.

Lovely work David, one of your classic camo schemes.

I really like the red accents on the mkI.

I'm tempted to order a mkII,  must resist though :'(

Haha. Better not check out Bulldogs's 'Aliens v Predator' post over on the Forum of Doom then. Fatal!

Yes, he's made great job of it hasn't he?

Even more amazing is the rate at which he churns stuff out.

Still, despite your evil tempting ways I can resist that because a) it's out of scale and I'm a bit ocd about that, and more importantly, b) because it's made by Prodossers, who still owe me stuff from their acursed kickstarter.

Still, back on topic, very tidy work by your good self.

Lovely as usual! The subtle readouts in the centre of the windshield are a genius touch! :-*
