Thanks for the heads up. I will be backing this.
@ italwars:  I did some comparison photos with Redoubt and BTD here:

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=91812.0

They are big and will not go with Rapier, Old Glory, Foundry, Empress, Warlord plastics.
But they have a charm of their own and the photos don't do justice to the character sets, which are especially nice.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

I made my pledge. Only £84 to go to meet the target now...

I see only £50 to go to meet the target now. I would like to see these figures get produced because they have a lot of conversion potential. With simple headswops with the other cavalry sets it is possible to produce lots of the other small auxiliary mounted units like the Durban Mounted Rifles and Natal Hussars.

Conversion opportunities with these will be somewhat limited. The cavalry figures in particular are much larger. They look good and as stand alone units are fine but mixing AW with Empress for example is a non starter.

Hi Eric I certainly agree that they won't mix with Empress and other little figures. However most of my figures are big. I have plans to convert some into the Zulu War auxiliary units I mentioned above and others into some WW2 mounted Germans to go with my Chiltern figures, and some 1940 Norwegian dragoons. And, if I can find some compatible beasties, perhaps into some VSF  Dinosaur Dragoons (Princess Beatrice's Own)

I can hardly stand the strain. A week to go and only £31 off the completion.
