Great stuff, please keep at it. I recognise the pike man and the monk with sword from Foundry but could you please tell me where the rest of your religious (monks) and clerics came from.
Michael.

Thank you for the quick reply. I love painting miniatures for the seige as it combines my two big interests, wargames and the Catholic Church.

Very nice indeed. I really like the way you've used a number of different ranges and you seem to have overcome some of the height differences - for example, I recall that the Foundry Swashbucklers are really big while the old Foundry Wars of Religion figures are quite small but I couldn't have told you that from your photos.

 Paul
I have thought about this scale issue many times and sometimes the figures can be huge next to others but painted and based in a similar manner takes the eye off of this.
I work in construction and looking at the guys on site there are all shapes and sizes at times when I am supplying them out with new sweaters/coats we go from small/medium to large x large xx large and some even xxx large :o I'm sure history would have had various shapes and sizes too.

Thanks for the comment

Willie

Very nice.

This period intrigues me - I'm half thinking of doing it in 10mm
