Old Ral Partha dwarf
« on: October 04, 2016, 07:44:26 AM »
Not certain when I acquired this one but think he must be 24 years old+ and  he deserved some paint even if its my bad skills

Freya did paint up her first ever figures at the same time a couple of bretonian archers and to be fair she is better at 8 than I was at 16

Nice work on an old classic!

I see you also have the preferred paint of the period too.

Wow,
he turned out pretty well, considering how small a model that is. Love to see old Partha Stuff getting painted up  :).

Ral Partha minis are what got me started into this hobby, so it's always nice to see them.

no to the Humbrol was just a convenient stand have a pile of pots left over from painting up a load of americans from a battle of a bulge Christmas game

dereham club did many years ago me and oil based paints don't mix very well

use mostly Vallejo and games workshops  the new metal paints seem really nice but prefer eye droppers
