15mm republican Romans

One of my many painting project got finally started. Here is the first legion painted.
There is another legion of romans and two allied legions still to come.
I'm planning to use them in Hail Caesar, but they are still too few, so while I paint more, I'll be trying Sword & Spear.

Looks great, good choice of colours; purple feathers for the triarii(?) are a particularly nice touch. Thanks for sharing.

The miniatures are from War & Empire range.
The mounted commander and the commander with scutum are from Xyston (they are slightly bigger).
