Wood Elves and other fantasy

Hey guys,

I'm starting a log here to keep track of my fantasy painted figures. I really want to finish up a bunch of figures this year so hopefully this keeps me to it.

I'm playing frostgrave in a few weeks with a bunch of friends so my first job is to paint up a few warbands.

These are some old 5th ed GW wood elves, I want to eventually paint them up into a Dragon Rampant army too, but that is still in the works.

Here are my wizard and apprentice with a warhound/animal companion


Here are my dryads, I painted up a full unit for Rampant where they will be, as Rich Homie Quan says, "My hittas". In frostgrave i think i will use one of them as a templar, they are well armoured and strong so it kinda fits


Here are the archers, thugs and infantryman still wip. I have to be honest im not 100% sold on the colour scheme but i feel like i just need to get finished for the frostgrave game and then can always repaint.



With the dryads i tried to add foliage to the models (you can maybe see some stuck to one of them) but it looked garbage so i pulled most of it off...does anyone have any experience/tips they could share?
