I need a man-sized werewolf
« on: October 16, 2016, 12:02:19 PM »
I suppose I could have posted this in the fantasy section of LAF, but this seems the most relevant section. I am after a 28mm scale werewolf that is not "Frickin' huge". I basically ant one that is roughly man sized and would fit on a 20mmx20mm base. He musty also be naked or dressed in a few rags, and be unarmed. I have struggled to find a figure on google as it is difficult to judge the size of the werewolf without scale reference pictures.

Any suggestions?
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

Otherworld's is a personal favourite, but it's a bit pricey for some.

Some of the pre-painted dnd miniatures might be worth checking out since they should be roughly human size by dnd rules.

If you can wait a bit the new Studio Miniatures one looks nice, other than that there a plenty out there.

If you can get it, the leader of Beorn's Bear-somethings (my memory is dreadful) from the old GW Dogs of War rage could do  the trick, even though he's a were-bear.

I highly recommend Otherworl Miniatures. Their werewolf is both dynamic and not comically exaggerated as well as man-sized.

The Hasslefree one is nice, thought a little larger than 28mm man sized (but not ridiculously so).

Slight Threadomancy here, but I like these two offerings that are also from Reaper:

And this one, a new release from Studio Miniatures:

Just got this one, Mage Knight Moonborn Dunewolf:

Much better sculpt than what the picture suggests...

WestWind has some great man-sized werewolf minis, this is GH00010 - WereWolves (Wolfmen) blister:

Again, much better up close and personal than what the picture suggests...  ;)
