Thank you all for the support
I have now finished the build and started the painting
So here goes introducing the "Century Duck" my take on a well known ship from Star wars

And the first coat of paint
Its not a perfect model but I hope it will add to the tramp freighter look
Just got to work out how to paint something this big

I’d possibly suggest going over it again with black and making sure it’s in all the recesses then giving it a dusting of grey spray then an even lighter dusting of your chosen ship colour.

I can only echo what everyone else is saying, great scratchbuilding Colin! That ship would actually fit in a few sci fi universes, not just Star Wars.
