Lord Blackwood in...The Lost Temple of Kos - Pulp Alley AAR
« on: October 02, 2016, 07:47:49 PM »
Just played my first game of Pulp Alley using the Solo Deck. Great fun!

...and true to the genre, I shall leave it there (there's another dozen or so pages). The rest is up on my blog here, if you're interested.

Great stuff, Gordon. Sounds like a cracking game, and it looked very nice. That's a lot of work in that battle report too!

Thanks for all the kind words. Can't believe it has taken me this long to get around to playing Pulp Alley...especially after seeing so many brilliant batreps on the various blogs (not least blacksoilbill's Pulp Alley games set in an imperial future!). This was also my first try of any kind at a solo game and it was (surprisingly) lots of fun! I'm looking forward to playing lots more Pulp Alley.

For some reason I can't post a comment on your blog so I'll say it here...

Jolly good game and set up, lovely figures to boot! Top notch stuff...

Plus I got to get me some of those aquarium accessories!

Cheers!

I think it's if you're not a Google Plus user (I'm in the same boat).

Also, glad the reports were an inspiration, Gordon! Very much looking forward to more inspiration and ideas coming from your direction now!

Fantastic terrain, Wulgar. This is a great time of year to stroll the Halloween aisles for cool terrain pieces. I found the HUGE skull in one store and I am itching to turn it into an island.  :D
