Thats weird. Doesn't show. Anybody any idea why that might be?

Signature only shows in your first post each page.

But you can add the web address in your profile settings to display a small clickable globe-icon under your avatar (like I have)

Thanks for posting the Battle Report and wonderful pictures.  Thoroughly delightful.  By the way, what's the backstory for how the good rabbi and the golem got there (I assume from Prague?  renowned as the most haunted city in Europe - great opportunities for gaming scenarios in that).

The good Rabbi has a cousin in Prague who sent him a manuscript and suggested it was the best way to defend the locals from the Spanish. Rabbi costinov followed the instructions and created the Golem. Rumours came to the attention of Sir Jack and he convinced the Rabbi to come to the aid of Sir Thomas.

How very ecumenical of the English.  And interesting in that Dutch Jews of Spanish descent (many of whom settled in Holland after the expulsion from Spain in 1492) were involved in helping the Dutch resist Spanish invasion . And later, in the later half of the 17th century, Jews of Spanish descent also aided the English in attacking Spanish interests in the Carribean.

Well it's been a while but Sir Thomas, Sir Jack, Giselle and Hurtz came out to cause trouble in the Low countries all over again.

This time we used Donnybrook and made up some rules to cover various details of the characters. It was also the first outing of the German Reiters.

The full battle report is on the blog http://theleadpile.blogspot.co.uk/2016/10/a-legendary-death-in-low-countries.html as well as our first game with Donnybrook from a while back http://theleadpile.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/the-bridge-at-bergring-er-ding.html

Cheers for looking

Just came to this thread, have to say some wonderfull stuff on here.
Both the miniatures and terrain are gorgeous and the batreps very entertaining.

I'm a bit surprised none of the flemish people on here mentionned the "Bokkenrijders" or Buckriders in english for inspiration.
Here's a wikki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckriders
While they are actually more of an 18th century thing something like them would fit right in with your existing baddies imo.

I look forward to seeing more of your awesome stuff (and may even shamelesly copy some of it in 6mm using microworlds new Fantasy Renaissance / Italian Wars line).

Dixon even makes some:

But, as you say, 18th century rather than 16th century: a bit like translating Bugsy Siegel to the American War of Independence!

Bravo for seeing the potential of using the old Warhammer pistoliers as reiters.  I have a few I use the same.
