I asked this question and this is the reply I got

"Our 1st Afghan War range will see the first packs released in a week or so (the greens you have seen were from our Kickstarter camapign) as we just relaunched the first packs for our Sikh Wars range today. Many of the packs will suit both campaigns especially the cavalry, artillery and BNI units.

The first releases for the 1st afghan War range will be British infantry in Greatcoat and Bell Top shako commands, marching and advancing poses with firing line to follow up a few weeks later.

If you follow us on Facebook it is a good way of being up to date with all the news and new releases"

So hopefully soon!

As soon as the 'skirmishing/ firing line' British infantry in greatcoats becomes available I'll buy them. I'm painting a few of the officers now and they are splendid figures.
Don't know what I'll do with them as I only 'do' Indian Mutiny but I'm afraid I'm talking myself into another smallish Sharpe Practice army(ette) for the Afghan Wars.
After all I have plenty of Afghans....

Well, I actually had to look it up and then felt slightly ashamed. One of my SCW units is the McKenzie- Papineau battalion...

Shows once again that there's always something to learn. :)

On his block maybe.... ;) I've been planning to use these minis for just that purpose ever since I became aware of them. Between the Empress Maori War civilians, Brigade Games'  War of 1812 Militia and Mountain Men and maybe the odd figure from the French Indian Wars I reckon a decent Patriote force can be built.

Sounds like a great idea. I don't know why. But I prefer the 1830s-50s uniforms to the earlier  Napoleonic era uniforms.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Oh and there's the wotif of the Aroostock War.  When I return from Brazil, I'll also be buying some Perry marines from their Carlist War range to re-assert British sovereignty in the Falklands. That was a very, very, nearly shooting match and I reckon it would be perfect for Sharp Practice.
