Blue Moon and Perry
« on: February 10, 2009, 05:26:35 PM »
How do Blue Moon's figures match up (scale wise) to Perry’s? I'm looking at BM's 'Chaos in Cairo' and Perry's Sudan figures specifically. Are Blue Moon's taller/chunkier (bearing in mind Perry’s are ‘true scale 28mm’)?
Thanks.
I told you so. You damned fools.

I don't actually own any Perry minis as yet, but, this might help you decide:

I think the Blue Moon stuff scales up nicely with Copplestone and Artizan myself, so the Perry may be a little less chunky.

That does indeed help, thankee kindly.

If anyone has any comparison pictures of Perry/BM, however, I'd be much obliged

Unfortunately, I do not own any Perry minis, yet (I think). I shall be getting some if I ever get to realize my wish about gaming ACW....

But I can assure you that the Blue Moon minis are of very good quality - much more so than the photos on their website would let us believe (got the Human Spacefarers recently).

I agree - the paint jobs they use for the covers of their boxes do not do the figures justice! In my shop I always have an open box or two around to show off the figures.
