6mm Transforming tank WIP CAD

What's that, I'm posting another half finished idea in render form. How surprising. 

The 6mm sci-fi game from horizon wars has received a pdf expansion that allows you to field transforming vehicles. Tanks to robots and so on. That was  I've been brewing on this a while, it was a 6mm project by our own Sangenaru that gave me another shot of inspiration.

Here is the first version,



I like the way the missiles fold out, but the way they sit in the tank version was kind of what broke my motivation.

An intermediate version, I much prefer the look of the shields, but it lacks the fold-out nature.

And finally the current state of affairs, a pair of placeholder arms for the mech version, and a variant shoulder. Not sure if I prefer it, it's more streamlined for sure.

Someone needs to put these in production (and then commission you to do a whole range like this )

I do agree the arms need a bit more work. A bit beefier and allowing for a bit more articulation perhaps?

I look forward to seeing this develop. Dare I hope for some transfigurable airframes to?

I really should finish up some project before starting more... But I have been watching a lot of gundam of late.
