Sorry, another "Gangster Figure" question.

I see that these are described as “true” 25mm but am wondering if they would work with Pulp/Copplestone/Dixon as “short” or “slightly built” figures.  Especially the unarmed figures?

Or are they just too small?

I found them too small.

To put that in perspective I field old Grenadier gangsters alongside my Copplestones, but the two Steve Barber figs I got just didn't cut the mustard.

Single figures, yes and small groups.
 
A “Project” for me is just a group of related figures.  Won’t be lots.

I have some “unarmed” Copplestone and Pulp Figures.  Recently acquired the Partizan Harold Lloyd.  1929 is in the news a lot.  I haven’t painted any Gangsters for a while.  My imagination gets to work…

They are true 25s as already said. I game with Steve and he has gone part time with his ranges and is now working as a Hairdresser. His ranges are still in production but as said not sure if he is still making the resin buildings. I will find out and see if he is making them.

I know he has been working on Nopleonics for the last 12 months

well hairdresser that sounds about right who else would you want to work on your hair mini people well make sure its right and to scale.I do my wife and daughters nails and everybody asks them who did your nails then where did he learn to piant,my wife tells them you want to see his 4,000 miniatures.I like his stuff some but good looking they well fit with my tsr stuff but like I said in another post I am trying to go bigger but the sceanry look alwsome I loved the trash cans.

I've got a few Steve Barber figures and they're minute alongside the Copplestone ones. I've not got any of the gangster/cop types - got plenty enough from Copplestone & Pulp - what I've got I use to pad out the "innocent by-standers" in my games where, I feel, size doesn't matter so much.

Just in case you're not convinced, I'll add to the chorus.  I have some that look 'OK' alongside Paul Hicks IWI range, but they look like dwarves next to Copplestone
