Tancrede painting Conan miniatures (Monolith boardgame)
« on: November 07, 2016, 11:34:30 AM »
Hi everybody,

I received my pledged last week (a very big box, as I've pledged for the King level, and some add-ons), and I've started painting those wonderful minis.

First work done yesterday, with 5 Picts, Valeria and some treasure chests :

And for those interested, I made a little tuto on how I've painted the Picts on my blog => http://studiocaillou.blogspot.fr/2016/11/conan-tuto-de-peinture-rapide-chasseur.html

Next on the line are more Picts and Shevatas (done this morning before I go to work), and certainly another hero (or the princess).
My blog, for personnal and commission work, and sometimes other things too => http://studiocaillou.blogspot.fr/

Tres bien. :) I would like to see them with bases finished and I am looking forward for your new painted models to come.

Greets,

Meto

You'd have to be careful with the bases as they still have to accept the colour rings (or simply note the figures with coloured strips or an alternate scheme to match them to the activation cards).

Oups, I forgot to post some pics of the finished minis...

- speed painted hyenas :

- more picts and the princess :

- a giant snake, 2 bad boys and Hadrathus :

- some bossonian warriors :

- Conan and Bêlit, from the "Brom box", painted for a friend of mine...

And the whole lot of painted minis :

Fantastic work. Will you be adding basing material to the rest of the minis or just having it for the heroes?

Thanks for comments, guys !

The 2 heroes with basing done are for a friend of mine, who have asked me to do so.
For my own minis, I think I will base them on transparent bases...

Yeah, most excellent. You really did make the most out of the Bossonian Guards figures, great choice of colours. The hyena's - not the best models in the box - turned out quite nicely too. Thanks for sharing!
