@DivisMal

Adding Dune into the mix could present some challenges on the ground.  Must be careful with the ingredients to avoid awkward Trek/Dune/Aliens fusions.  Turn one:  Phaser to the Holtzman shields and, "Game over Man.  Game over" :) .

I am awaiting with expectation the release of some no-Dune miniatures from a very good company, so this is a setting I ould like to try.

And the mix of shield and laser can cause an explosion, or only a malfunction...

Hi

I like high-tech scifi and also I'm a fan of Mass Effect Universe... So you can already imagine it...

I'm doing themed squads for that game: Cerberus, Aliance, Geth, Salarian Forces, etc ...

Rogue Stars has the correct pack of rules to represent it

@Juan

From what I'd understood interactions between lasers and Holtzman fields could cause explosions of atomic scale wiping everyone involved out (The Aliens reference only got included so Hudson could emcee the meltdown :) )

What are these, "not Dune" models of which you speak?  If you find out some more please share I'm very interested indeed.

Maybe Akula's minis, which he sold off to some mystery company years ago?

Yes please!  Those are fine looking sculpts.  They deserve distribution.
