I think you are right about them being converted Hintons and Airfix...
There is a unit of what look like Zouaves in the third picture... I think they may be Rose Miniatures's ...
I must admit that I was tempted to try an recreate the miniatures using Hintons etc...

Fortunately Spencer Smith saved me from that potential maddens  :D

All the best. Aly

I'm making progress with my FPW S Range project. It's dual purpose - for FPW and for refighting some of George Alfred Keef's Georland campaigns.

There are some blog posts on both my Vintage Wargaming and the History of Georland blogs:

Here are a few pictures:

French Commanders

French Light Cavalry

French Infantry

Prussian Artillery

I've been picking up selected built German HO railway buildings (mostly Vollmer, one or two Kibri) from Ebay. I think they look effective and set the scene nicely

I am intending to use a hex based rules system and am looking at producing an FPW variant of Command and Colours Napoleonics to do this.

I am currently painting 6" hexes 1" deep to use as hills with my Corsec Engineering fleece mat. As soon as I have had the time to produce v1 of the rules variant I should be able to have a trial game or two.

I'm quite excited!
