Dwarf Barbarians
« on: November 18, 2016, 08:32:16 PM »
I'm looking for some dwarf barbarians that will scale well with my Reaper ones.
I'm also trying to not go with the classic GW slayer look.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Hasslefree has some neat Norse Dwarves, but I don't know what the scale is like.

I like the Antediluvian Anglo-Saxon ones.

What scale are Reaper dwarfs? The only one I have is huge - he joined my chaos marauders unit as he's more their size.

I have a few HF dwarves. They average 22mm to the eye, 25 to the top of the head.
History viewed from the inside is always a dark, digestive mess, far different from the easily recognizable cow viewed from afar by historians.

What about the Advanced Song of Blades and Heroes dwarves from their Hammer and Forge sourcebook. They can be found here http://www.songofblades.com/category-s/101.htm
I think some of the pelter models would especially fit in as barbarians. I haven't bought any myself, but they do look good in my opinion.
