Hi guys !! Here is my first late Roman terrain project ( there is a second almost finished and a tuird y alpha phase hahaha) I got a Hovels 28mm roman tower from their mile castle kit and I I "converted" it into a lonely tower in the Syrian desert ( you know, those Sassanids can be very annoying ) and made a little base

I hope you like it !

Wow! I always found the tower a Bit odd on Hovels page, but your painting and basing really impress me. And the middle imperial romans do look as good.

Great piece of terrain. Looks pretty "Arabian" to me.
Not a fan of the tower itself, though. It's a bit rough and lacking in detail. Still usable, of course!

May we look forward to some more 3rd century Romans?

Thank you ! Yes... I am starting an new Impetus middle imperial Roman army... I will post next week the first unit.
And you are right, the tower itself its not a piece of art, but it was pretty cheap where i bought it and i made the terrain in order to give it some lustre haha. Very soon there will be another tower in the forum, this time from Grand Manner
