Ouch! Well at least I don't have to worry about Shazzam out-levelling my wizard :D
Cool spider though!

The pain continued in the afternoon.

https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/2018/08/03/fg-2018-08-01-the-library/

I got to use my new Mantic Library terrain pieces that I have slaved away over - more to come - along with a load of older metal dungeon items I have accumulated over the years.

Ironically, Alan, his wife Rita and I had discussed purging rubbish after 5 years of not being used so its a good job some of these items had not been subjected to such a purge as some were ~27 years old.

This day really was like "Plan 9 from Outer Space", so bad with my dice rolls it was funny !
Wandering stars, for whom is reserved, the blackness, the darkness forever.

Another gaming session, 2 games, this was the first and most successful.

https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/2018/08/26/fg-2018-08-22-the-pits-of-null/

Lots of Mind Control.

leading to Nullmen trashing Barbarians !

Plus Zombies turning up behind me (of course), and summoned Imps.

Catching up with lots of photos following yesterday's games...so here is the second game Alan and I played week before last.

https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/2018/09/01/fg-2018-08-22-walenton-manor/

Kenny & Craig got another thrashing.

Lots of moving staircases.
I built four of them and I'll post them shortly on the blog.

Two more games to write up from friday, which were rather more successful for me. :-)

Alan and I are doing the Thaw of the Liche Lord campaign.

First two scenarios done.

here's the first one.

Though I "lost", I did at least get 3 treasures, which is an unusual outcome when I play at Alan's place !

Great looking game Giles.

Our group really enjoyed the Thaw of the Lich Lord scenarios.

Wow, 120 days since the last update...loads of games played, and now I'm finally getting round to updating my photos.

Alan and I have started two new war bands to start afresh.

I have more to come including Frostfayre 2018 when we had a couple of tables up and running with several of us in the village hall.

Agreed - nice to see your blog back in action (he says guiltily as he looks at his own output recently)

Right, back in action after a stint in a splint (not joking) 9 hours in A&E 6 without water and then the nurses wondered why I drank 2 jugs of water...yes jugs and I pointed to the poster on the wall opposite me exhorting people to drink water !

Now, back to the sub jerk in hand another games session with Alanb. I have omitted many and may well be updating many posts as we have been gaming over the last 4 months honest.

This one is The Lair of the Crow Mage from the Wizard's Coven.

Always annoying as your thug trying to escape with the loot is cut down !

No it didn't end well.

More to follow. :-)

The second scenario in the "Blade of Barael" campaign in Wizard's Conclave

Old Mother Parma was painted for the games, and after dropping off at the model shop is now varnished, she'll probably be killed shortly. :-D

Apprentice down !
But not out...

Now to pillage the backlog.
