Hello.
As many others, I am awaiting with great expectation this new ruleset from Osprey Publishing so I am painting some of the many SF figures I have. Here are the first two of them:

The Wandering Trader.

The First Lady.

They are figures from Colony 87; wonderful models with a lot of character I expect to use mainly as NPC in my games.

They look really cool! You've done a great job on them both, but I'm a little puzzled by the bases? Could you explain the purpose of their design please?

Thanks a lot.
The bases I´m going to use are from Micro Art Studio, Kromlech, etc. I don´t like the common black round bases, and wanted to have some "themed" ones for these figures.

Great stuff. As you say "loads of character" and somewhat reminiscent of "Dune" perhaps? Lovely paint-jobs, and looking forward to seeing more.

Yes, they have a lot of Dune in them.

The Unshaved Tech, another figure from Colony 87.

The Scum. An old figure from "Necromunda" I painted many years ago.

I love that Colony Trader figure. Such a shame the KS only had single figures supplied as random selections. Would have picked him up in a shot if he had been available.

Great figures. This has been a very good news to know Mark Copplestone is sculpting more figures for the North Star oficial range.

Most of these models were painted time ago, awaiting the right (for me) ruleset... I expect this is such ruleset.
