I started to try shifting to IMGUR a while back, but it's really wonky on Firefox (my browser of choice).  It doesn't indicate if/when something is successfully uploaded, is a pain to organize and locks up constantly.   :-I

Huh, that's interesting, I use Firefox myself, but I'm also on Windows 7.  Do you use a Mac or Windows 10?

Agreed. Some of my older images are still on Photobucket, but when I go there I am assaulted by adverts of such dubious nature that I feel like I landed on some fake duplicate. Imgur has more than enough content of dubious nature but all of that is user generated, which is somehow less offensive.

Right. I doubt it worth switching hundreds of old photos in old directories and old threads unless you have some serious OCD. But shifting to imgur going forward is pretty simple.

As Tim says, the biggest worry is that someone will eventually come along, buy it, and run it into the ground!

My €0.02: get some cheap webspace and host your images there. Much easier IMO. You can add it as FTP folder in Explorer (making uploading a case of copy/pasting files), you have an easy web address (making posting a breeze), you can organize it the way you want to AND you can build a website from it.
I'm using One.com for about 9 years now. Love them and will stay there. They have easy website building tools, blogging tools, great online options.
