Really sorry to hear this news.

The Lone Wolf books were what prompted me to buy my first fantasy figure - a 28mm Lone Wolf which is still in my display cabinet at home..

Very sad news. Gamebooks were my first impact with fantasy gaming, Lone Wolf ones were among them of course.

This is sad indeed.
The Lone Wolf series were a great part of my childhood.
Good thing that his work has been immortalized by the Project AON for everyone to enjoy adventures in the land of Sommerlund.

Very sad. The Lone Wolf books - and gaming background and miniatures - were great. And the Tabletop Heroes column in White Dwarf was superb too, as were all those scenarios and their accompanying photographs - Thistlewood, Minas Tirith and the like.

R.I.P.

If anyone is interested, there's a Lone Wolf game available on various platforms (Steam, iOS, PS4) with a story written by Dever himself and which has gameplay that mirrors the classic game books.
