You did a great job on that river.  Read your blog, and I found it very illuminating on the process of making it.

Cheers. I actually suffered a bit of a set-back while writing that post, since it took about six weeks or more from start to finish and I lost my phone with a lot of the WIP shots on it about half-way through. I usually try and detail which products I'm using, what things worked and what things didn't, as much for my own sake as anyone else's, so I can remember how to replicate projects later on down the track!

table is coming along nicely.

I don't see what is so "Dark Ages" about teh river though? Looks like it coudl be used for any 28mm game :D

This is true! But I made it specifically to play SAGA on since I didn't have a river in my collection and was unable to play the battle at the ford scenario : (
