Theme thoughts on Robue Stars?

Bought two PDFs (prefer hard copy but PDF fine for exploring new rules.)

One is Rogue Stars.

Some appeal with reservations but looking for first impressions from others.

Thinking of several themes – Hive Mind Amphibious Insectoid Star Cops first.

Next Psionic Reptilian Gestalt Star Cops.

Last Humanoid Star Cops (see the overarching 👮 theme) with either opportunity fire or sharpshooter discipline.

What was your first thoughts about building a force thematically?

The book hasn't arrived, but I was thinking Inquisition.

Atm I'm gathering minis from my collection, and I'm going for a smuggler/rogue/mercenaries theme, that's easier to create. If I (and friend) will like the game, I plan to get some very mixed alien models and going for an "Intergalactic Intervention Force" theme (mostly CP Models from their alien federation line, but plans are to include stuff from Mantic DeadZone, and even GW).

Smugglers, ship crew, pirates, aliens (painted up some zombiesmith ones recently with this in mind), "irregular operations" (government operatives thrown together for a particular operation sort of thing), "corporate operations" (same sort of thing, but driven by big business).

May even try some rebel groups fighting against an evil empire.

I have plenty of figures painted, including a bunch of old Rogue Trader era imperial guard/pirate figures, so there's loads of scope for groups

There's any known EU reseller ?

I'm not sure.

I bought mine direct from them a few years ago when exchange rates were decent, postage didn't require a second mortgage and import limits were a few pounds higher

I have thought about getting some more, but the above factors have all swung the other way
