It's still only December and already we have a post tempting me to visit BLAM again

It would be rude not too. :) ;)

Excellent stuff Messrs Hammers and Bullshott. ;D

Can't wait to see more. ;D

I'm busy painting up arctic explorers at the moment. My biggest task for the game wil be terrain features.

As Hammer hinted,  there will be a few surprises in the game. The one thing I can guarantee is that there will be NO penguins other than a possible sighting of these:

Right you are. But hats. We have to have hats. I am quite adamant about this.

I could have but no. It is a US park services postcard from the 1930s which I have 'improved' :-). The great thing about art deco and posterism is that it is fairly easy to do digitally when you break it down. Structurally, I mean. Colors and composition you always need an eye or training for. So the iceberg is nicked, the blood and the text and the rest is me.

There is a whole slew of tutorials out there about how to do art deco posters. They seem very popular atm. Lots of people are doing art deco verisions of modern movie posters. We may have a go at making more, you know..., 'promotional material', just ferdaheckofit.

This is something I thought we could use as a secret force objective card to be handed out to each player at the start of the game. Bullshot and I are currently planning to include four forces in our scenario. One of them will indeed be American or Canadian but the above is just an example of what it could look like.

And my economy is probably gonna be worse than ever this summer, with my eldest daughter's 'confirmation' coming up this spring, and the savings right now all but depleted by having just had the car transmission replaced..  >:(

Can't believe it's already been 9 years...  :o
